OCTOBER 26, 2005 - The Board of Directors of Aguila American Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: AGL) announces that at its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") held October 19, 2005, shareholders elected Messrs. John Huguet, Shafiq Gulamani, Nick DeMare and Gregg Thompson as directors of the Company and passed an ordinary resolution to ratify the existing stock option plan, pursuant to which the Company may grant stock options up to 10% of the issued and outstanding common shares at the time of the grant.
At a directors meeting held subsequent to the shareholders meeting, the directors appointed Mr. John Huguet as President and Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Nick DeMare as Corporate Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.
